I had a feeling I would like this place, because I love Chad White's other restaurant Zona Blanca.
I tried the lobster roll the first time. I liked it very much. I have never had one before, and the flavors are pretty subtle. But the ingredients are very good and I enjoyed it. I then went back and had the combo roll. The flavor of the short rib is excellent.
Today I had the salad- short rib. It could use a little work I think. It's pretty good but I will have the combo sandwich next time. -

Ok, the food is great. We got two lobster rolls, a clam chowder bowl, and two drinks. We didn't really know what to expect, but we really wanted to try this place.
To be honest, it was pricy. We paid as if we had a full meal at another restaurant, but left hungry. This is due to the lobster being a quality and costly ingredient. So, we can't really complain about the price.
Will we come back? Rarely? I just couldn't justify visiting often and leaving hungry at the price point.
I love the food, and the chef is really nice. I hope it sticks around. -

I had High Tide Lobster Bar bookmarked for when I travel to Spokane for work. My coworker and I walked here for lunch.
We both ordered the Wedgie (salad) with lobster. Wow, salad with only green goddess dressing, bacon, blue cheese, red onion is already $9, and adding that lobster topping was another $12. No dine-in water available for customers, so we had to buy another two bottles.
Salad was fresh, but I should've asked for the green goddess dressing on the side because there was just too much dressing. My coworker kept picking out shells and opaque skeleton from her mouth, so she didn't enjoy it as much.
Overall, I did not think High Tide Lobster Bar was worth the amount of money we spent in total. It's actually more expensive than other lobster salad that I've had in LA. -

Location is kinda weird but now the hours make sense! It's located in a building on the second floor, in the midst of offices. It's pretty small but we managed to cop seats in the hallway and they brought out the food to our seats so it must all be connected?
I got the lobster roll. It was pretty small but the price was comparable to other types I've had so no complaints. The bread was perfectly toasted and the lobster chunks were lightly tossed. They weren't too stingy or too generous with the amount of lobster but I ended up perfectly satisfied so overall, I was happy! So was my companion.
I will definitely be back. Next up, clam chowder! -

If you love seafood, you'll LOVE High Tide. Don't think, just go!!! I snagged the special Grilled Cheese Lobster Roll and it was sooooo good. I wish I could put lobster in all my grilled cheese from now on. Love this place!!
